Can somebody please help me out with the weather in my area?

Okay, so today's forecast said "Scattered Strong Storms," as if it was going to be a very stormy day. It still says that as the forecast, but it has been the most perfect day. There hasn't been a cloud in the sky. I also looked at the hourly weather and it just says sunshine. If the forecast is still calling for strong storms, yet it is still sunny and should continue, should i be worried about the strong storm prediction?
