Question about weather in Jamaica?

We are going there (Montego Bay area) for our wedding and honeymoon next week, and there is a 50-80% chance of rain each day predicted as of now. My question is, when they call for rain there, does it usually stay cloudy, rainy and stormy all day? Or do showers and storms pop up then pass? Hoping for the latter so we can get some sun!
