How do you deal with insane crazy friends?

He has problems, always needs some side-kick next to him so he can do stupid things. Embarrasses himself in public, falls in loves with girls when he just meets them. Has no dignity, actually thinks he's funny, but most of the time it's just plain offensive. A complete hypocrite when he calls people freaks, when he himself is worse than them! I'm worried he's just going to get sent to jail some day, for his craziness. Any advice?
